Agency Profile
Personal & Family Counseling Services of Tuscarawas, Inc. (PFCS) is a non-profit family service agency. The agency's services are available to all residents of Tuscarawas and Carroll counties.
Financial support for PFCS comes from the Alcohol Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board of Tuscarawas and Carroll counties, The United Way, various foundations, donations, grants, insurance, contracts and client fees.
Our highly skilled, caring and dedicated staff provides a continuum of quality programs and services to families at all stages of their life cycle. Our commitment is to maintain strong families that build strong communities.
Since we were founded more than 35 years ago, PFCS has been unique in the community's mental health, substance abuse and social service system because of our family-focused, community-oriented philosophy. This philosophy defines the values that are a part of the programs and services we provide. We believe that the family is a system that is affected by each of its members, the economic environment, the community and other influences. When one member of the family is stressed, the entire system is affected. Stability is reached by assisting the entire family.
